The NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026–27, published by the NDIA. Fairbill includes the standard support items for self-care, community access and recovery coaching, along with the remote and very remote multipliers.
Fairbill shows the price cap — the most you're allowed to charge. Always check your own service agreement, because you may have agreed to charge less.
Because that's how it should be claimed. A shift running 6 pm to 10 pm covers two different rate bands — weekday daytime and weekday evening — so Fairbill splits it into two correctly-coded lines rather than billing the whole thing at one rate.
Yes. On any invoice, tap the rate on a line item and adjust it down. You'll then be offered the option to remember that rate for that client — after which it fills in automatically every time. Rates are remembered per client, per support type and per day type, so a client can be at a reduced weekday rate but full cap on Saturdays.
You can't set a rate above the NDIS cap. That's deliberate.
National public holidays are built in. State-specific holidays — Labour Day, King's Birthday, Melbourne Cup, show days and substitute days — vary by jurisdiction and are being added progressively. If one is missing for your state, email me the date and state and I'll get it in.
Everything stays on your device. There's no account, no server and no analytics — Fairbill never sends your data anywhere. See the privacy policy for detail.
Because it's stored on your device, use a passcode and Face ID or Touch ID, and keep your device backed up.
Any invoice can be shared as a PDF from the invoice screen. For your accountant, the Money tab exports a CSV and a one-page PDF summary covering the full 1 July – 30 June financial year.
Everything is free and unlimited for your first month — clients, invoices, PDFs, saved shifts, the lot. No card, no sign-up. Run your real billing for a month and see if it fits.
After that, Fairbill Pro keeps it going: A$19.99 a month or A$149.99 a year. If you don't subscribe, everything you've already created stays viewable, sendable and exportable — your records are yours. Manage or cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account.
To invoice as a sole trader in Australia, generally yes — and your ABN needs to appear on your tax invoices. Fairbill puts it there once you add it in Settings. For advice about your own tax situation, speak to a registered tax agent.
No. Fairbill is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NDIA. It simply uses the published price schedule so your invoices are coded correctly.
